Tim Johal, vice-president, investment management, is a portfolio manager on the Mackenzie North American Equities Team. Johal’s career in the investment management industry began in 2000. Prior to joining Mackenzie Investments, he held a portfolio manager role at a leading Canadian financial services company, with a focus on North American equity investing. In his time in the industry, Johal has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of the financial services sector, particularly in Canada. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree, with a major in finance from the University of Manitoba. He is a CFA charterholder.
