{"id":493905,"date":"2024-10-03T15:42:34","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:42:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.investmentexecutive.com\/?p=493905"},"modified":"2024-10-03T15:43:16","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:43:16","slug":"boc-seeking-second-external-deputy-governor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investmentexecutive.com\/news\/from-the-regulators\/boc-seeking-second-external-deputy-governor\/","title":{"rendered":"BoC seeking second external deputy governor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<span class=\"es-highlight\">Bank<\/span>\u00a0of Canada is seeking to fill a new, additional external deputy governor position, after creating the role last year.<\/p>\n<p>The central\u00a0<span class=\"es-highlight\">bank<\/span>\u00a0introduced the role last year as a way of bringing outside perspectives and a diversity of views to its monetary policy decision-making.
