Despite the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) judgment clearing the way for creation of the proposed co-operative Capital Markets Regulatory Authority (CMRA), Quebec insists that it won\u2019t be joining the effort.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Nov. 9, the SCC handed down its ruling on a reference brought by the federal and British Columbia government seeking to overturn a Quebec Court of Appeal decision, which found that the proposed model was unconstitutional.<\/p>\n
