Peter Bowen, vice president, tax and retirement research, Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, a chartered accountant with more than 28 years of industry experience, leads Fidelity’s research into issues related to financial planning in retirement. Previously, he served as fund treasurer for Fidelity’s mutual funds for 17 years, overseeing financial, regulatory and operational matters, including tax issues that affect the funds and investors. He is a former chairman of the tax committee of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada.
