Vancouver-based Matrix Asset Management Inc. has announced that G. Peter Marshall has resigned from its board of directors. Marshall announced his departure on Jan. 3. He had served on the board since the company’s inception in 2010. He also served on Matrix’s audit committee. The firm has said the appointment of an additional director to the audit committee will be happening soon. Marshall has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1982, he founded Seamark Asset Management Ltd., the institutional and high net-worth subsidiary of Matrix. He also is Seamark’s former chairman and CEO.
