The Toronto-based Exempt Market Dealers Association of Canada (EMDA) has announced the launch of the 2012 EMDA Awards: Exempt Market Deal of the Year. The nominees will be evaluated on their contribution to capital-raising deals and transactions closed in 2011 or prior to March 31, 2012; vision; leadership; market innovation; and the impact and the benefits of the deal for the issuer and investors. The EMDA will present the awards at the National Club in Toronto in June.
