Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. has expanded its fund lineup with the addition of two new funds: Red Sky Canadian Equity Corporate Class and Signature Global Dividend Fund. Red Sky Canadian Equity Corporate Class Fund’s objective is to obtain maximum long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equities and equities-related securities issued by Canadian companies with good potential for future growth. Toronto-based Red Sky Capital Management Ltd. is subadvisor on this fund. Signature Global Dividend Fund’s objective is to achieve high total investment return by investing primarily in equities issued by companies anywhere in the world that pay, or may be expected to pay, dividends, as well as other types of securities that may be expected to distribute income. This fund pays a variable monthly distribution. Toronto-based Signature Global Advisors will manage this fund. Advisor commissions for both funds are 0%-5% for front-end sales, 5% for deferred sales or 0%-2.5% for the low-load option. Redemption fees begin at 5.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 7 for the regular DSC schedule, or begin at 3% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 3 for the low-load schedule. Trailing commissions are up to 1% for front-end sales; 0.5% for the first seven years of deferred sales, and 1% thereafter; and 0.5% for the first three years of low-load sales, and 1% thereafter. Management fees are 2% for A-class units and 1% for F-class units. Minimum investment is $500.
