Toronto-based Questrade Wealth Management Inc. has launched an actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF). Questrade Global Total Equity ETF uses a top-down approach to analyze global economic trends and a bottom-up strategy to select equities based on those trends. Westlake Village, Calif.-based One Capital Management LLC will subadvise the new ETF. As well, Questrade has launched Questrade Fixed Income Core Plus ETF. It invests primarily in high-quality, fixed-income securities issued by corporations and governments. To a lesser extent, the ETF also invests in international fixed-income securities, emerging-market debt, preferred shares, convertible bonds and non-investment-grade bonds. Both ETFs are part of the family of Questrade Smart ETFs. Management fee for the equity ETF is 0.85% for common units. Management fee for the fixed-income ETF is 0.5% for common units.
