Product Watch: Franklin Templeton pares fees

Toronto-based Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. has reduced management fees on several of its domestic and global fixed-income funds. The Series A units of Templeton Global Bond Fund and Templeton Global Bond Fund (Hedged) A-class units now carry a fee of 1.25%, down from 1.75%. Similarly, the management fees for Class A units of Franklin High Income Fund and Franklin Strategic Income Fund have been reduced to 1.25% from 1.65%. The management fee for Class A units of Franklin Bissett Corporate Bond Fund now is 1.25%, down from 1.3%, while that fund’s Series F units now have a management fee of 0.75%, down from 0.8%. As well, the management fee for Class A units of Franklin Bissett Bond Fund has been cut to 1.2% from 1.3%. For fee information on individual funds, visit www.franklintempleton.ca.
