ScotiaMcLeod has announced its plans to wind down its nine Pinnacle RRSP funds, effective Sept. 16, 2005. These are:
n Pinnacle RRSP American Core-Plus Bond Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP Global Real Estate Securities Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP American Value Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP American Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP American Large-Cap Growth Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP American Mid-Cap Growth Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP International Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP International Small- to Mid-Cap
Value Equity Fund
n Pinnacle RRSP Global Equity Fund.
As part of the termination process, ScotiaMcLeod will not accept new purchases of the funds, and redemptions will be processed until Sept. 16. Unitholders of the proprietary offering will receive a distribution of a pro rata share of units of the corresponding underlying fund.
