New portfolios from Dynamic Funds

Toronto-based Dynamic Funds has created two new Marquis Portfolio Solutions products: Marquis Balanced Class Portfolio and Marquis Balanced Growth Class Portfolio. Marquis Balanced Class Portfolio seeks income and long-term capital growth by investing in a mix of fixed-income and equity mutual funds. Marquis Balanced Growth Class Portfolio seeks long-term capital growth and mainly invests in equities. For both funds, advisor commissions are 0%-5% for front-end sales, 5% for deferred sales and 2.5% for the low-load option. Redemption fees begin at 6% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 6 for the regular DSC schedule, or begin at 3% and end at zero after Year 3 of the low-load schedule. Trailing commissions are 1% for front-end sales, 0.5% for deferred sales, or 0.5% for the first three years and 1% thereafter for low-load sales. Management fees are 2.1% for A-class units. For F-class units, management fees are 1% for Marquis Balanced Class Portfolio and 0.95% for Marquis Balanced Growth Class Portfolio.
