Calgary-based Mawer Investment Management Ltd. has introduced Mawer Global Bond Fund, which is designed to provide investors with diversification by way of currencies, countries, yield curves and unhedged currency positions with a historically low correlation to equities. Managed by James Redpath and Michael Crofts, the fund will invest exclusively in investment-grade government and government-related bonds. There are no front-end sales or trailing commissions for this fund when units are purchased directly through Mawer. Management fees are 0.6% for A-class units. Minimum investment is $5,000.
