Dynamic Funds, a division of 1832 Asset Management LP, and BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. have jointly introduced three actively managed ETFs. Both companies have headquarters in Toronto. Dynamic iShares Active Tactical Bond ETF aims to provide investors with interest income and long-term capital growth through investments in a diversified portfolio of primarily North American fixed-income securities. Christine Horoyski, vice president and portfolio manager with Dynamic Funds, will manage the fund’s active investment strategy. Dynamic iShares Active U.S. Mid-Cap ETF is designed for investors seeking long-term capital growth through investments in mid-cap U.S. companies. Tom Dicker, vice president and portfolio manager, and Steven Hall, portfolio manager on Dynamic Funds’ equities income team, will co-manage the ETF’s active investment strategy portion. Dynamic iShares Active Global Financial Services ETF offers investors long-term capital growth by investing in global equities with a focus on U.S. companies that are involved in the financial services sector, including the financial technology industry. Yassen Dimitrov, portfolio manager with Dynamic Funds, manages that ETF.
