Mackenzie appoints portfolio manager

Toronto-based Mackenzie Financial Corp. has appointed Ashley Misquitta as vice president, investment management. Misquitta will become lead portfolio manager of Mackenzie U.S. Growth Class Fund. Prior to his appointment, Misquitta was portfolio co-manager of a U.S. equity fund at Invesco Canada Ltd. in Toronto, at which he worked since 2008. Prior to Invesco, Misquitta spent four years at two of Canada’s major financial services institutions as an equities research associate with expertise across multiple sectors of the U.S. market. Misquitta’s hiring by Mackenzie is part of that firm’s continuing initiative to build its growth team.
