Toronto-based Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. has launched Horizons Blockchain Technology & Hardware Index ETF. The ETF is meant to replicate the Solactive blockchain technology and hardware index. The three-tiered construction of this index gives investors exposure to the greater blockchain technology ecosystem, according to Horizons. The new ETF provides exposure to companies that are directly involved in developing blockchain-related applications; companies focused on the hardware required for blockchain technology mining; memory and storage medium producers; and companies involved in relevant hardware and services, such as memory and storage producers and data-centre real estate investment trusts. Management fees for the ETF are 0.65%.
