Toronto-based Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. has launched four ETFs. All four of the ETFs invest primarily in public, investment-grade, fixed-income securities issued in Canada. 1) Vanguard Canadian Government Bond Index ETF tracks the performance of a broad Canadian government bond index: Bloomberg Barclays global aggregate Canadian government float-adjusted bond Index. The management fee for this ETF is 0.25%. 2) Vanguard Canadian Short-Term Government Bond Index ETF follows the performance of a broad Canadian government bond index with a short-term dollar-weighted average maturity: Bloomberg Barclays global aggregate Canadian government 1- to 5-year float-adjusted bond index. Management fee for this ETF is 0.18%. 3) Vanguard Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF is meant to track the performance of a broad Canadian credit bond index: Bloomberg Barclays global aggregate Canadian credit float-adjusted bond index. The management fee for this ETF is 0.23%. 4) Vanguard Canadian Long-Term Bond Index ETF follows the Bloomberg Barclays global aggregate Canadian 10+ year float-adjusted bond index, which is a broad Canadian bond index with a long-term, dollar-weighted average maturity.
