Toronto-based First Asset investment Management Inc. has added two actively managed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to its lineup. First Asset Active Canadian REIT ETF will build a portfolio of Canadian real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate operating corporations that offer attractive yields backed by predictable, recurring cash flow and which are well positioned for capital appreciation. This ETF will be managed by Lee Goldman, senior vice president and portfolio manager with First Asset. First Asset Active Canadian Dividend ETF takes a fundamental approach to investing, placing emphasis on companies with sustainable and strong free cash flow, opportunity for dividend growth and which are poised for capital appreciation. Manash Goswami, portfolio manager with First Asset, is the lead manager on this ETF. Both ETFs will be denominated in Canadian dollars. First Asset has a total of 33 equity and fixed-income ETFs.
