Toronto-based Evolve Funds Group Inc. has launched a blockchain-focused ETF. Evolve Blockchain ETF is an actively managed ETF focused on equities issued by companies for which their principal business is research, development, use or supply of blockchain technologies and applications. (A blockchain is a decentralized digital ledger that’s commonly associated with cryptocurrencies.) The ETF may invest in foreign or domestic small- or large-cap, publicly listed issuers that make use of blockchain technology in various sectors. The ETF’s management fee is 0.75%.
