Toronto-based Dynamic Funds has launched Dynamic Global All-Terrain Fund and Dynamic Global Infrastructure Class Fund. Dynamic Global All-Terrain Fund, managed by Myles Zyblock, portfolio manager and Dynamic’s chief investment strategist, uses a rules-based approach focusing on price momentum, price persistence and cross-asset metrics to select a concentrated set of asset classes. The fund’s objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation for unitholders by investing in global asset classes through exchange-traded funds, fixed-income investments and cash and cash equivalents. Advisor commissions are 0%-5% for front-end sales, 5% for deferred sales, 2.5% for the low-load 1 option or 1% for low-load 2 sales option. Redemption fees begin at 6% for Year 1 and end at zero after Year 6 for the regular DSC schedule; begin at 3% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 3 for the low-load 1 schedule; or begin at 2% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 2 for the low-load 2 schedule. Trailing commissions are 1% for front-end sales; 0.5% for the deferred sales; 0.5% for the first three years of low-load 1 sales, and 1% thereafter; and 1% for low-load 2 sales option. Management fees are 1.75% for A-class units and 0.75% for F-class units. Minimum investment is $500. Dynamic Global Infrastructure Class invests in global infrastructure securities through a corporate-class structure. Jason Gibbs, vice president and portfolio manager with 1832 Asset Management LP, and Frank Latshaw, an associate portfolio manager with 1832, co-manage this fund. Advisor commissions are 0%-5% for front-end sales, 5% for deferred sales, 2.5% for the low-load 1 option or 1% for low-load 2 sales option.
