Toronto-based CIBC Asset Management Inc. has announced portfolio subadvisor changes for some funds. Kansas City-based American Century Investment Management Inc. (ACIM) will continue to serve as a portfolio subadvisor for components of Imperial U.S. Equity Pool, with an increased allocation to both the U.S. all-cap growth and U.S. all-cap value components of the pool. ACIM also has been appointed as an additional portfolio subadvisor for: Imperial Overseas Equity Pool, managing that pool’s international all-cap growth component; and Renaissance Canadian Balanced Fund and CIBC Balanced Fund, managing that fund’s global component. ACIM also has been appointed as an additional portfolio subadvisor for Imperial International Equity Pool, managing that pool’s international all-cap growth component. In August 2011, CIBC had acquired a minority ownership position in ACIM, which manages approximately US$121 billion in assets.
