Toronto-based BMO Investments Inc. has launched an impact-investing fund – a first for a Canadian bank. BMO Women in Leadership Fund invests in North American companies headed by female CEOs or with boards of directors with at least 25% female representation. BMO also took the wraps off another socially responsible investing fund – BMO Fossil Fuel Free Fund. The latter fund excludes investments in companies involved in the development and infrastructure of fossil fuels. In addition to the aforementioned funds, BMO has launched five mutual funds, all of which invest in exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These five funds are: BMO Tactical Global Asset Allocation ETF Fund, BMO Tactical Global Growth ETF Fund, BMO Covered Call Canadian Banks ETF Fund, BMO Covered Call U.S. High Dividend ETF Fund, and BMO Covered Call Europe High Dividend ETF Fund.
