Toronto-based Arrow Hedge Partners Inc. has launched Arrow Distressed Securities Fund. Since its inception in 2003, the fund has only been available for investment as part of Arrow Multi-Strategy Fund and Arrow Global Equity Long/Short Fund. Managed by New York-based Schultze Asset Management, the fund invests in U.S. distressed debt and undervalued equity securities, and typically holds between 60 and 75 positions. Front-end
commissions are 0%-5% with a 1% trailer. There is a 2% performance fee paid annually, if applicable. Management fee is
2.5% for A-class units and 1.75% for F-class units. The fund has
a 20% performance fee with a high water mark. Minimum investment varies by province.
