TSX Group Inc. CEO Richard Nesbitt today announced a donation of $20,000 to the Canadian Red Cross – Alberta Flood Relief Fund on behalf of TSX Venture Exchange and Natural Gas Exchange, TSX Group’s two Calgary-based exchanges.

The donation is to help victims in that region following the events of recent days.

“We applaud the efforts of the provincial and Federal Governments for their swift action in announcing they will provide flood relief. Our donation will help the Red Cross deliver assistance where it can do the most good,” Nesbitt said. “TSX Group will also match funds donated by our employees.”
