Toronto-based Hampton Financial Corp. and its subsidiary Hampton Securities Ltd., have announced that Joe Pavao has joined as president and chief operating officer and Jason Mackey has joined as chief financial officer (CFO) of both firms.
Pavao has served in executive positions in the financial services sector for more than 25 years. Most recently, he was president of Solium Financial Inc. and as chief strategy officer at JitneyTrade Inc. He has also served in senior executive capacities at TD Greenline, CT Securities Inc., ETrade Financial Corp. and Sun Life Securities Inc.
Similarly, Mackey has served in executive positions in the financial services sector for more than 22 years. Most recently, he served as CFO of Jovian Capital Corp., and its investment dealer subsidiary MGI Securities Inc., at which he developed significant experience in the investment counsel, investment dealer and ETF business. Prior to this, Mackey was part of the investment dealer audit practice at KPMG LLP.
