Toronto-based Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. has expanded its exchange-traded fund (ETF) lineup with the addition of two all-capitalization ETFs, which began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on Tuesday.
Vanguard FTSE Developed All Cap ex North America Index ETF and the Canadian dollar-hedged Vanguard FTSE Developed All Cap ex North America Index ETF provide investors with exposure to developed markets outside of Canada and the U.S. They follow all-cap benchmarks that include small-, mid- and large-cap stocks. Both ETFs have an annual management fee of 0.2% of net asset value.
“We believe an all-cap approach moves investors closer to complete global market-cap weightings and fuller diversification benefits,” says Atul Tiwari, managing director of Vanguard Investments Canada, in a statement. “Such diversified exposure, at a low-cost, can help investors manage investment risk, enabling them to better weather market swings.”
These two new products bring the firm’s total number of ETFs to 23.
