Mackenzie Financial Corp. has received final investor and regulatory approvals regarding the mergers of seven Keystone funds into existing Mackenzie mutual funds.

The mergers are effective as of September 18.

As a result of the mergers, senior vice president Ian Ainsworth and Mackenzie’s growth-oriented investment team consisting of Mark Grammer and Wendy Chua, have assumed responsibility for the former Keystone assets.

Keystone Altamira Capital Growth Fund and Keystone Altamira Equity Fund have been merged with Mackenzie Universal Future Fund.

Keystone Altamira e-Business Capital Class and Keystone Altamira Science & Technology Capital Class have merged with Mackenzie Universal Emerging Technologies Capital Class.

Keystone Altamira RSP Science and Technology Fund and Keystone Altamira RSP e-Business Fund have merged into Mackenzie Universal RSP Emerging Technologies Fund.

Keystone Altamira Global Equity Capital Class has been renamed Mackenzie Universal Global Future Capital Class.

Keystone Altamira RSP Global Equity Fund has been merged into Mackenzie Universal RSP Global Future Fund.
