Sphere Investment launches its first ETF

Toronto-based Sphere Investment Management Inc. is entering the exchange-traded fund (ETF) market with Sphere FTSE Canada Sustainable Yield Index ETF, its first offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

The ETF seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE Canada sustainable yield 150 10% capped index (CAD), or any successor thereto, as much as reasonably possible and before fees and expenses. The Sphere ETF invests directly or indirectly in up to 150 Canadian equity securities of public issuers exhibiting relatively high and sustainable yields, as at the time of reconstitution or balancing.
