Independent investment dealer Research Capital Corp. has signed an agreement to distribute the GICs of Pacific & Western Bank of Canada, Pacific & Western Credit Corp. said Thursday.

Based in Toronto and with offices in Calgary, Regina, Montreal and Vancouver, Research Capital provides financial solutions for investors and small to mid cap companies.

“Research Capital is a welcome addition to our growing network of deposit agents and we look forward to the opportunity to offer our deposit products to Research Capital’s customers,” said David Taylor, president and CEO, Pacific & Western Credit Corp., in a release.

Branchless financial institution PWBank is wholly owned by London, Ont.-based Pacific & Western Credit Corp.
