RBC Insurance has released an enhanced version of its critical illness insurance product.
The insurer says the new product features a simplified design that is easier to understand and provides a solution to clients who are looking for an affordable alternative to more traditional critical illness insurance plans.
“With an easier application and simplified underwriting process, this new product is designed to cut through the clutter of covered conditions and return of premium options,” says John Young, president and CEO, RBC Life Insurance Co.
“The end result is a product that offers clients solid coverage to suit their fundamental needs.”
The plan includes:
- coverage for the top three conditions: cancer, heart attack and stroke;
- benefit amounts of $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $75,000; and
- an early assistance benefit that provides up-front access to money when certain covered conditions are diagnosed early, with no reduction in benefits for future claims/
Clients also receive access to assistance services; with Best Doctors and Daily Living Assistance.
