Toronto-based RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM) announced on Monday the launch of the RBC U.S. Small-Cap Value Equity Fund.

The fund invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. small-cap companies that are deemed to be undervalued with the goal of providing broad exposure to opportunities for economic growth, according to RBC GAM’s website.

The fund is considered appropriate for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation, who are looking to hold their investments for the long-term and can tolerate considerable fluctuations in their portfolio. It carries a risk rating of “medium to high.”

There are four options for individual investors: Series A and Advisor Series, which both include a management fee of 1.85%; Series D, whose management fee is 1.1%; and Series F, with a management fee of 0.85%.

Series O is available for institutional investors.
