RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM) Monday announced that Guardian Capital LP has been appointed as sub-advisor of the RBC Private Core Canadian Equity Pool.

The name of the pool will also be changed to RBC Private Canadian Growth Equity Pool.

These changes are effective Jan. 7, 2013.

The investment objectives of the pool have not changed; however, RBC GAM says the new name more clearly identifies the pool’s investment strategies and process.

Guardian Capital LP is the institutional investment management subsidiary of Toronto-based Guardian Capital Group Ltd. Guardian Capital LP manages over $16.6 billion in assets on behalf of its clients.
