RBC Financial Group has gone live with Sanchez Funds, a comprehensive mutual fund order management system developed by Malvern, Pennsylvania-based Sanchez Computer Associates Inc.

Approximately 1,600 RBC financial planners and relationship advisors at 1,300 domestic branches now provide third-party mutual fund order management services using Sanchez Funds.

Sanchez Funds is integrated with RBC’s existing technology platform to distribute third-party mutual funds using unique rules, commission structures and edits. The software updates back-office systems with mutual fund orders and provides automatic dividend and activity processing, complete with reconciliation, to fund companies.

“We found Sanchez offered the type of solid industry expertise and the flexibility we needed to meet our unique requirements,” said John Truman, senior VP and head of technology for RBC Investments, in a news release.

An aggressive implementation plan allowed RBC to roll out Sanchez Funds in four months — a record for a large-client implementation of the product.
