R Global Value Fund today announced that it will restate its annual management report of fund performance dated Dec. 31, 2006.
The re-filing will correct the presentation of past performance of Series I units of the fund for the 2005 calendar year and for multi-year periods that extend through 2005 to reflect an anomalous performance impact resulting from a brief period during which no Series I units were outstanding. The error was detected during an internal review of the fund’s disclosure documents.
The error does not affect past performance of the fund’s Series A units, which are held by retail investors. The restatement affects only the fund’s Series I units, which are only available to investors who sign a Series I account agreement with the manager of the fund.
The fund expects to file the restated management report of fund performance in the first week of July, 2007. The restated management report of fund performance will be available through SEDAR and through the www.iaclarington.com Web site.
The fund is managed by IA Clarington Investments Inc., and had approximately $100 million in assets as at May 31, 2007.
