Capital Group Canada has launched two equity and two fixed-income ETFs — the asset manager’s first active ETFs on the TSX, the firm said in a release on Thursday.

The four ETFs are as follows:

  • Capital Group Global Equity Select ETF (CAPG),
  • Capital Group International Equity Select ETF (CAPI),
  • Capital Group Multi-Sector Income Select ETF (CAPM),  and

“Our ETFs are designed to focus on the major asset allocation categories used by financial professionals when constructing client portfolios,” Rick Headrick, president of Capital Group Canada, said in a release.

Los Angeles–based Capital Group manages more than US$2.7 trillion globally, including 21 ETFs in the U.S. with assets under management of more than US$42 billion, the release said. That amount represents 5% of U.S. market share in active ETFs, captured in a little over two years, it said.
