Toronto-based Invesco Canada Ltd. is introducing two precision-engineered, yield-focused portfolios under its Invesco Intactive brand for investors seeking income-producing options that won’t increase their exposure to risk.
Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio and Invesco Intactive Strategic Capital Yield Portfolio Class are yield-oriented investment vehicles designed to generate income with the potential for capital appreciation.
Invesco says the portfolios strategically mix high-yielding asset classes with assets that have historically performed well in times of economic stress. Additionally, they may tactically capitalize on yield opportunities and adjust to current market conditions.
The portfolios will be managed by Invesco’s global asset allocation team and designed based on the team’s proprietary risk-management techniques. By investing in mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, the portfolios will offer exposure to high-yield, corporate and government bonds, dividend-paying common shares, preferred shares, real estate investment trusts and other income-oriented securities.
“Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolios offer investors diversification that looks beyond traditional sources of income to enhance yield, while being prepared for risk,” says Jamie Kingston, senior vice president, product management and development at Invesco Canada.
The portfolios are available in a corporate class version (Invesco Intactive Strategic Capital Yield Portfolio Class) and mutual fund trust version (Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio).
