MD Funds Management, the manager of the MD family of mutual funds, announced today that it intends to terminate the MD International Growth RSP Fund, MD US Large Cap Value RSP Fund and the MD Global Bond Fund on December 10.

In a release, the company said decision to terminate the funds was made after careful review and was approved by the board of directors.

Effective at close of trading on September 30, the funds will be closed to new purchases. Existing unitholders are being given the opportunity to redeem or switch their units to other MD mutual funds at no cost.

On December 10, a terminating transaction will redeem all units of the fund and allocate a prorated share of the cash proceeds to client accounts.
