New fund to be co-managed by Hall and Moroz
Mawer Investment Management Ltd. is launching a global equity mandate, the Calgary-based company said Thursday.
Mawer has been managing international and US equities for over two decades, and global small cap equities since 2007, with approximately $2.4 billion in assets invested outside Canada.
Mawer says global equity represents a natural extension of these mandates, offering clients the choice of a global equity or individual asset class approach to portfolio construction.
Mawer will offer global equity through segregated management for institutional clients and through the Mawer Global Equity Fund. The global equity mandate will be co-managed by Jim Hall, director of research, and Paul Moroz, manager of Mawer Global Small Cap Fund.
Mawer Investment Management Ltd. is a Calgary-based investment counselling firm founded in 1974. Mawer manages approximately $6.5 billion for institutional and private investors, and a family of mutual and pooled funds.
