Manulife Mutual Funds said Thursday it will make a number of changes to its platform including certain fund terminations, and the closure of Series IT.

Manulife Mutual Funds will be terminating three funds due to limited demand from investors: Manulife Emerging Markets Equity Fund; Manulife Global Natural Resources Fund and Manulife Investment Savings Fund.

The fund terminations will be effective on December 5. As of the close of business on July 30, each terminating fund will cease distribution of new securities.

Effective July 30, Manulife will close Series IT to all new purchases as a result of limited demand from investors. Current securityholders can continue to hold their units in Series IT.
