Mackenzie Financial Corp. has announced that Adelaide Kim, associate portfolio manager of the firm’s all-cap value team, will co-manage Mackenzie Canadian Large Cap Dividend & Growth Fund with Hovig Moushian, senior vice president of Mackenzie’s all-cap value team effective, Nov. 21.
During Kim’s 16-year investment career, she has researched and managed Canadian and foreign equities with Mackenzie and predecessor firms. Prior to joining the Mackenzie all-cap value team in 2011, she developed her skills at a large Canadian pension plan covering a broad spectrum of sectors.
Kim, a chartered accounted and certified financial analyst, invests according to a rigorous value-based investment philosophy, Mackenzie says in a statement.
As a result of this change, Darren McKiernan, senior vice president of Mackenzie’s global equity and income team, and Wincy Wong, vice president of Mackenzie’s all-cap value team, will no longer co-manage Mackenzie Canadian Large Cap Dividend & Growth Fund. They will continue to manage other Mackenzie funds.
