Sceptre Investment Counsel Limited announced Friday that Allan Jacobs, small cap Canadian equity fund manager, will be leaving the firm.
His portfolio management duties will be re-assigned to Sceptre’s Canadian equity team.
“Sceptre’s portfolio management teams are strong and deep in talent. Our disciplined, common investment processes have been large contributors to the exceptional investment performance of the Sceptre Mutual Fund family”, said Richard Knowles, President and CEO of Sceptre, in a release.
He added, “Allan Jacobs has been a long term contributor to Sceptre’s success and we wish him well.”
Sceptre Investment Counsel Limited is an independent Canadian money management firm with assets under supervision of approximately $9.4 billion.
