FrontierAlt Oasis Funds Management Inc. today announced that the investment manager of two of its funds has changed to MAK, Allen & Day Capital Partners Inc. from Avenue Investment Management Inc effective immediately.
The change affects FrontierAlt Oasis Canada Fund and FrontierAlt Oasis World Fund.
MAK’s Sunil Joseph is principally responsible for the day-to-day investment management of each fund’s portfolio.
The investment objective and the investment strategies of the two funds will not change.
The investment objective of FrontierAlt Oasis Canada Fund is to provide investors with long-term capital growth primarily by investing in a diversified portfolio of securities of Canadian public
companies in accordance with shariah investment principles.
The investment objective of FrontierAlt Oasis World Fund is to provide investors with long-term capital growth primarily by investing in a diversified portfolio of securities of public companies primarily located outside of Canada in accordance with shariah investment principles.
FrontierAlt and MAK, Allen & Day have directors, officers and shareholders in common.
Avenue Investment Management continues to be the investment manager for the FrontierAlt All Terrain Canada Fund and the FrontierAlt All Terrain World Fund, respectively.
FrontierAlt has been incorporated as a shariah compliant company to manufacture shariah compliant investment products. It is a subsidiary of FrontierAlt Investment Management Corp.
