Front Street Mutual Funds Limited has changed of the names of the classes of mutual fund shares of FS Mutual Funds to provide more accurate descriptions of the actual mandates and corporate class structure.
“While the name changes don’t alter the funds’ investment strategies, they do better reflect each fund’s investment management thesis and corporate class structure,” says Gary Selke, president and CEO of Front Street Capital 2004.
“Investors in our Corporate Class funds will continue to benefit from the ability to switch from one class of shares to another without triggering an immediate taxable event.”
The renaming affects the following funds:
- Front Street Resource Fund becomes Front Street Resource Class;
- Front Street Canadian Equity Fund becomes Front Street Tactical Equity Class;
- Front Street Diversified Income Fund becomes Front Street Diversified Income Class;
- Front Street Small Cap Fund becomes Front Street Growth Class;
- Front Street Special Opportunities Canadian Fund becomes Front Street Special Opportunities Class;
- Front Street Global Opportunities Fund becomes Front Street Global Opportunities Class;
- Front Street Growth and Income Fund becomes Front Street Growth and Income Class;
- Front Street Value Fund becomes Front Street Value Class; and
- Front Street Money Market Fund becomes Front Street Money Market Class.
