Montreal-based Fiera Capital Corp. has launched a new international equity fund that invests in equities of established companies across various global markets with the general exclusion of North American companies.
The firm’s global equity team, led by Nadim Rizk, senior vice president and a lead portfolio manager at the firm, will manage Fiera Capital International Equity Fund, which aims to provide strong risk-adjusted returns.
“We are pleased to introduce this new fund to the retail market as it complements our existing lineup of foreign equity mutual funds,” says Sylvain Roy, president and chief operating officer of Fiera’s Canadian division. “It is an attractive solution for investors searching for exposure in developed markets and flexibility to invest in emerging markets. It also allows individual investors to have access to a top-tier manager.”
