Investment dealer Edward Jones has signed an agreement to distribute the GICs Pacific & Western Bank of Canada, Pacific & Western Credit Corp. said Thursday.

Edward Jones offers a comprehensive range of investment products and services through more than 650 financial advisors across Canada.

“This relationship furthers our corporate strategy to diversify and expand our deposit base,” says David Taylor, president and CEO of Pacific & Western.

The London, Ont.-based bank is a branchless financial institution with approximately $1.6 billion in assets. It specializes in providing financing to large corporate and government entities including hospitals, school boards, universities and colleges, municipalities and provincial and federal government agencies.
