The Co-operators, based in Guelph, Ont., has formed an alliance with AGCO Corp. to offer a comprehensive package of commercial property and casualty insurance to AGCO’s agricultural equipment dealers.
Duluth, Georgia-based AGCO is a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment and related replacement parts. It has one of the largest global distribution networks worldwide, including more than 200 independent dealers in Canada.
This alliance will provide Canadian AGCO agricultural equipment dealerships a one-source business insurance solution, with competitive rates, customized programs, and best-in-class service.
Dealerships that take advantage of this new insurance coverage offered by The Co-operators will enjoy benefits such as: customized coverages to meet their specific business needs; risk management solutions to help reduce potential losses and save agricultural equipment dealers money; and claims service to keep dealers focused on their customers.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to work with this outstanding company to roll out a business insurance program tailored to the needs of these dealers,” says Heather Woodward, director – special lines products and communications at The Co-operators. “Program participants will benefit from our history and experience in helping to protect agribusinesses.”
“This comprehensive insurance package provides outstanding value to our dealers,” says Alistair McLelland, vice president of sales & distribution, AGCO North America. “AGCO Corporation is committed to offering our dealers products and services that keep their businesses profitable.”
