CI Mutual Funds Inc. today announced the successful mergers of five Clarica-branded mutual funds. The mergers were approved at a special meeting of the funds’ unitholders held in Toronto on November 25.

The five funds were combined with larger funds with similar investment objectives and the same portfolio managers:

  • Clarica Balanced Fund was merged with Clarica Summit Growth and Income Fund;
  • Clarica Canadian Large Cap Value Fund was merged with Clarica Summit Canadian Equity Fund.
  • Clarica Global Large Cap Value Fund was merged with Clarica Summit Foreign Equity Fund;
  • Clarica Global Bond Fund was merged with CI Global Bond RSP Fund; and
  • Clarica Alpine Canadian Resources Fund was merged withSignature Canadian Resource Fund.
