Toronto-based Canada Life is changing the name and launching new series of the Pathways mutual fund lineup, the firm said in a release on Thursday.
The London Life Pathways mutual funds will become the Canada Life Pathways mutual funds, effective immediately. There are no changes to the funds’ objectives or managers.
Additionally, Pathways mutual funds will expand its offerings to include an unbundled fee series and a high-net-worth series. These new series will be available on Oct. 28 subject to regulatory approval.
Canada Life Pathways mutual funds will continue to be managed by Mackenzie Investments and offered exclusively through Quadrus Investment Services Limited.
Last spring, Winnipeg-based Great-West Lifeco said it was consolidating its three life insurance companies — Great-West Life Assurance Co., London Life Insurance Co. and the Canada Life Assurance Co. — under the Canada Life banner.
