Toronto-based BMO Asset Management Inc. is reducing the maximum annual management fee for five of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) effective on or about June 22.
BMO Aggregate Bond Index ETF and BMO Discount Bond Index ETF will have a maximum annual management fee of 0.09%, which is less than half of its current annual management fee of 0.2%. The decrease makes these two products the lowest-cost fixed-income ETFs in Canada, according to an announcement released on Wednesday.
BMO Short Corporate Bond Index ETF’s maximum annual management fee will go down to 0.1% from 0.12%.
Lastly, the maximum annual management fees of BMO S&P 500 Hedged to CAD Index ETF and BMO S&P 500 Index ETF will decrease to 0.08% from 0.1%.
