BMO Investments Inc. today announced the proposed mergers of several mutual funds in November.

BMO Far East Fund and BMO Latin American Fund will be merged into BMO Emerging Markets Fund.

BMO RSP Japanese Fund, BMO RSP European Fund, BMO RSP Global Financial Services Fund and BMO RSP Global Balanced Fund will be merged into BMO RSP International Index Fund.

BMO RSP Global Opportunities Fund, BMO RSP Global Health Sciences Fund, BMO RSP Global Technology Fund and BMO RSP Nasdaq Index Fund will be merged into BMO RSP Global Science & Technology Fund.

BMO Global Financial Services Class, BMO Global Health Sciences Class and BMO Global Technology Class will be merged into BMO Global Opportunities Class.

Upon completion of the mergers, BMO Global Opportunities Class will change its name to BMO Global Equity Class. All of these funds are part of BMO Global Tax Advantage Funds Inc., a mutual fund corporation.

AllianceBernstein Institutional Investment Management will become the portfolio manager for BMO Emerging Markets Fund and for BMO Japanese Fund effective December 1. AllianceBernstein is currently the portfolio manager for BMO European Fund.

The mergers will be be effective on or about November 28, and are subject to unitholder and regulatory approval.

Unitholder meetings for the relevant funds will be held on or about November 10.
