BMO Asset Management Inc. said Friday that changes to the investment objectives of five BMO Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) were approved at a special meeting of unitholders.
As a result, five ETFs will seek to replicate the performance of new indices, and four of those funds will be renamed.
BMO Dow Jones Canada Titans 60 Index ETF (TSX:ZCN) is a now associated with theS&P/TSX Capped Composite Index, and will be renamed BMO S&P/TSX Capped Composite Index ETF.
BMO US Equity Hedged to CAD Index ETF (TSX:ZUE) is associated with the S&P 500 Hedged to Canadian Dollars Index. The fund will be renamed BMO S&P 500 Hedged to CAD Index ETF
BMO Global Infrastructure Index ETF (TSX:ZGI) is associated with the Dow Jones Brookfield Global Infrastructure North American Listed Index. The fund’s name is unchanged.
BMO China Equity Hedged to CAD Index ETF (TSX:ZCH) is associated with the BNY Mellon China Select ADR Index. It will be renamed BMO China Equity Index ETF.
BMO India Equity Hedged to CAD Index ETF (TSX:ZID) is associated with BNY Mellon India Select DR Index. The fund will be renamed BMO India Equity Index
ETF.
The changes to ZCN, ZUE and ZGI will be effective on September 21, while changes to ZCH and ZID take effect on September 28.
